Oh, nice lyrics, it is awesome. i do love it as it bit my heart, i am just wondering how can add it to my own space of http://interracialsingleonline.com ,where i collect all the nice voices in the world. can u help me to add the same one there? 12/06/2007 08:42
The realism, creativity and quality of the props in the DC Cemetery in comparison to all other contestants is the obvious reason behind their win. In addition he created every one, so thats even more reason he deserved the prize.Extreme talent, he deserves every cent! 11/30/2007 19:51
Brent does NOT do this for a living, he takes time off of his full time day job in order to do this. He does it on the side, it is his hobby, and he puts a ton of effort, energy and money into creating a haunted house for his neighborhood every year. He is super creative, he spends many many hours thinking and creating his props, and that is the reason he won the contest, and he deserves it!! 11/30/2007 14:21
Folks Brent and his family get no money for their efforts in this Haunted house. They spend thousands of their own hard earned money and time. They work very hard every year just like the rest of you to bring his community some fun. In fact today Mountain View families are expecting the Haunted house as it has become a part of Halloween for many families. They use their own time after work to build this magnificent haunted house. Brent does not do this as a living. He has a full time job and this is simply something he does as a hobby. Don’t be hatters and complainers instead sharpen your pencil next year and come out and win.Good Luck to you and Great Job Brent and FamilyJoe 11/18/2007 12:59

Joe,I couldn't agree with you more! I feel many rules were overlooked though. When we put together our video, I paid careful attention to this section: "(e) must not contain any copyrighted works (other than as owned by the Contest Entrant. Any elements appearing in your Entry, including without limitation music, audio, speech/voiceovers, stills, video, supers, or other audiovisual materials (collectively, "Elements") used must be entirely original, created and performed by you, or be in the public domain." I am fairly sure the winning video is overlaid with a Trans-Siberian Orchestra track. In addition most videos in the top ten contain music that is copyrighted. Most contain soundclips or music directly off of horror movies. I have emailed FEARnet for clarification on the copyright rule. I have yet to receive a response. However, I didn't even THINK about the amateur rule until now. It's pretty interesting that the haunt that one is composed 99.8% of animatronic props....the same thing the haunt owner constructs for a living. Hmmmmm....Maybe FEARnet and Bix weren't on the same page for the rules? I am not saying this because our video didn't win. I am content with being in the top 10 considering we only posted the video two days before the contest ended. I do think the rules should have been adhered to more firmly so the haunt the met all the requirements could win. 11/04/2007 08:50
I also thought the contest was for amateur home haunters when I entered it. This is from your "offical rules..."(Eligibility: The Contest is open to: (a) legal residents of the Eligibility Area; (b) who are at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in their state of legal residence, whichever is greater, and who are (c) amateur decorators. For purposes of this Contest, an amateur is defined as someone who does not receive, and has never received, more than 25% of their annual income from decoration-related professions such as set design, interior design, scenery, or landscaping.) I also saw that t.v. show and have been to DC CEMETERY'S website that sells Professional Auto animatronics among other decorations. I am very curious to know why, when I had 48% of the votes was I not even considered to be in the top ten? You state that it is based on "Public Votes" as you stated here: ii. Voting: Between October 1, 2007 at 12:01 AM PDT and October 26, 2007 at 4 PM PDT, members of the public (each, a "Public Voter") will have the opportunity to view a series of head-to-head comparisons between two Contest Entries (each, a "Faceoff") submitted during the Entry Period, and to select one of the Contest Entries as the "most entertaining" between the two contenders in that Faceoff (each such selection referred to as a "Vote"). On or about October 31, 2007, Bix will tally the results of all eligible Votes received in the Contest. Using the Ranked Pairs algorithm, Bix will select the Contest Entrant judged "most entertaining" by the Public Voters. In the event of a tie, the Sponsor will choose the winner. I had, by the end of the contest on the 26th of October, Most of the votes. 48% of them to be exact. What happened?
Something just doesn't seem fair. 11/02/2007 15:43
I thought you had to be a amateur to win this contest The guy that created this house does this full time he said so him self on the T.V. show "Whats With that huanted hose". I belive it was on Travel channel. if you go to his web site you can see he sells animitroncs for a profesion. I am not in this contest this year but if the second place is a amateur he should be awarded the prize. 11/02/2007 06:18
This house scared me silly! I tried to get some pix of the ethereal ghost and the spider lunged forward and I almost dropped my camera! The tour inside the haunted house was fun! This is a fantastic place to be on Halloween! 10/31/2007 23:30
CONGRATULATIONS TO DC CEMETERY! Great job you guys! Also, congrats to everyone who made it to the top 10.To FEARnet,
Thanks for opening this competition for all of us haunters, especially with such a generous prize. My only two suggestions: 1) switch to a different voting format next year please. The face offs were TOO time consuming for most people. Many gave up before they got to the haunt they were looking for and 2) Please give some clarification on the rules about copyrights. I know many movie soundtracks (if not all) are copyrighted materials. Many videos featured clips from soundtracks. It may be good to have the rule clarified for next year. Especially if it will lead to disqualificaiton (as the rules state). Thanks again! And HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO YOU ALL! If you are ever in SC, check us out! 10/31/2007 14:25
I'm on Mountain time and so, it's well past 4:00 even in podunk Montana! Great great job cuz and hubby! I hope and pray that you win! Wish I could visit. 10/26/2007 17:39

I'm too scared to go by this place on Halloween. I can't afford anymore medication...especially for my heart. What makes this so awesome is that someone actually made all of this..it's amazing. It should no doubt!!! be the winner. I have seen scary movies that weren't filmed this well. 10/26/2007 12:07
