Regarding entry: Mike Huckabee by America the Beautiful
Huckabee seems to be the most sound, solid held together candidate by his convictions. I have favored McCain but believe Huckabee would be an outstanding VP with McCain only because I WANT a real commander-in-Chief this time and McCain is the only one for the job - Huckabee would be a great strength to McCain's experience and I would call them a DYNAMIC DUO 11/29/2007 17:00

Regarding entry: Senator Hillary Clinton by America the Beautiful
Unlike her very talented husband, Hillary lacks the ethos (charisma) to engender affinity (liking) in those who would not normally like her. Bill had that ability in spades. Hillary has the highest negatives of anyone who has ever run for the Presidency. Zogby recently said her negative rating was over 51%, a REAL election winner. Hillary will lose the entire southern block in the election, no matter who she faces. Even Bill and Al Gore took Arkansas and Tennessee twice. She is an electoral college disaster.

Regarding entry: Mitt Romney by America the Beautiful
Romney is a strong candidate, but falls short of Giuliani because he cannot bring electoral victory in the General election in BLUE STATES. He will get crucified in the general electoral as a right wing religious wacko, even though the charge has no merit. They will do it to him simply because he is a Mormon, from a very connected Mormon family, and it will sell to the democratic electorate. He would also be a strong VP candidate, because by not being at the top of the ticket, he could deflect criticism more easily. If Bush 41 could get away with Dan Quayle, surely Romney could be a good VP. I hope Giuliani selects either Huckabee or Romney for VP. A Huckabee Romney ticket could also be strong, but would lack the electoral punch that Giuliani will bring in the Northeast.

Mike Huckabee is proving to be the most genuine communicator in the race. He also is an ardent advocate of the Fair Tax, which is one of the few changes the government could implement which would actually impact our daily lives. It sounds like he may win Iowa, but there is still time, so we shall see. I don't think he or Romney will make up the difference between them and Giuliani after Super Tuesday in February. He would be an outstanding VP choice. 11/29/2007 15:25

Regarding entry: Rudy Giuliani by America the Beautiful
Rudy Giuliani will be the next President. He will win New York which is 39 electoral votes and a 78 point switch. He will win New Jersey which is 15 electoral votes and a 30 point switch. I could go on, but you people are bright enough to do the electoral math yourselves. The money that the Democratic Party will have to spend defending the Northeast in the most expensive media market in the world will crush their strategy of spending money in Red states for their own victory. Giuliani will win with a minimum of 300 electoral votes, most likely with 350 or more and perhaps even close to 400. It only takes 270 to win. No other candidate brings this bonus to the Republican party. The Democrats have not had to spend money in the Northeast since the election of Ronald Reagan in 1984.

I hate to tell you this, "bruce13053" but John Kerry did not win the popular vote in 2004. Kerry won 59.03 million votes or about 48 percent of the popular vote; Bush won 62.04 million votes, or about 51 percent of the popular vote. 11/29/2007 15:04

Barack is too inexperienced, Hillary can't win the general election, I agree John Edwards is sincere and bright and I think he is electable against the republicans. After all Kerry won the popular vote and he was his running mate. 11/29/2007 14:27

I crack up every time I read one of Obama's supporters write "race makes no difference"… reallyy? Than why is the first thing you mention? He is completely inexperienced, advocates leftwing/socialist policies and supports Muslim (opps… that doesn't "matter" either, just like 911 was committed by "extremists"). He is a nightmare. China is capitalists and the USA is turning communists under these so-called "democrats". FDR was a democrat.. you people are little Stalinists. 11/29/2007 14:05

The only thing worse than a democrat looking to raise taxes to pay for the messes created by the federal government is a republican who claims to be fiscally conservative and opposed to taxes of any sort (to get elected) and then spends more than the democratic administrations ever did and refuses to pay for their expenditures, rather puts them on the "credit card" and pushes them off onto next year, next president, or future generations to take care of. I'll take responsible taxes and paying for what you spend over irresponsible credit card, pay in the future, no new taxes republicans any time. 11/29/2007 13:42

Edwards may have the appeal of JFK but he most certainly does not have the politics. JFK understood that by lowering taxes the Feds would actually increase thier revenues. There is not a Democrat alive that gets that. Conservatives do. They understand that very well.

Hey Democrats! If you like tax increases so much then why don't you just volunteer to pay more in taxes rather than mandate it. There is nothing stopping you. The IRS will gladly take all of you money if you want to contribute. Just leave the rest of us poor working stiffs alone. We pay too much as it is. 11/29/2007 13:26

Racism and ignorance is the problem with this country, that's why it is weakening. We need to worry about the best candidate for the position regardless of race or gender. People to me are worried to much about there own traditional beliefs without tolerance and respect for others beliefs. Same sex relationships scandals and Religion is a ploy to mask the real issues at hand in the game of politics. People need to think about what is really important; Is making sure we have adequate healthcare for our families or making sure same sex marriages do not pass into law? Listen to the underlying truth..for example you Bush supporters were so hung up into supporting the ban against gay marriages that you did not know he was allowing lobbyist healthcare companies take away our healthcare benefits, corporations to receive major tax cut for taking there businesses overseas and taking away our jobs, Now we have billions of dollars deficit because you did not pay attention to the real issues. Most of you paid attention to the country good ole' boy that has white skin that so called represents the False "True American". all I can say is "WAKE UP", for the one that knows all about Obama, look at his track record on what he has been doing for his town, and all the good things he have been doing for this country before he even decided to become president. I am not saying to vote for him, I am, if his name comes on that ballot, but I am saying for whom ever you vote for look for the true track record of actions and stop judging people by their skin color or gender. Once again, because that is what it is all about and Americans need to stop lying to themselves about it. If Obama was white or if Hillary was a man would any of these silly issues about them really be issues? 10/11/2007 17:22

In reading different posts and forums I have come to realize that no one seem to be concern with the real answer for America. Playing politics is old, just like Rap. When will we realize that without God there is no existence. We've moved away from our basic principles. Taking God out of the pledge of allegiance, its ok for men to have sex with other men, as well as women having sex with women-what an abomination, let alone getting married. truly an abomination not just to God but to mankind. -God protect our children-. Look @ television, You cant watch the news anymore, its to painful, cartoons aren't the same. So we adjusted to say cartoons for adults is a cartoon that swears and show your private parts. Still we are feasting somewhat similar to Israel after being delivered from Pharaoh- For what cost are we willing to die. For what cost are we willing to live. Have we forgotten what got us here. "One nation under God". I am ignorant as to the ways of the politician and want to remain that way. I fear we are to far to turn around but the God in me want let me give up on us; so I watch and pray. It would be easier to vote if we had a reality show on the candidates. To really get chance to see you without the suite Mr. Obama, to see you without the make up Mrs. Clinton- to see if that smile is genuine Mr.Politician. I do take pleasure in seeing Mrs. Clinton Speak as well as Mr. Obama but I dont know none of you- so voting is guessing. Although I will vote, cause I do believe, but in accordance with my belief, I will pray also; not for a particular candidate, but for whoever is elected. That they have compassion for the world like Christ- No ideas on the reality show we've had enough. You cant change people they have to change themselves and the world will continue to evolve but in the process of its new formation-ask yourself what have I done to contribute to the cause for better change! 10/10/2007 16:34

Islam does not equate to terrorism. It disgusts me to read posts like turtledove15. America is a beautiful country with many diversified backgrounds and different walks of life. We have prided ourselves since this countries foundation on our tolerance. It is evil and narrow-minded to assume that because of ones religion that they have the capacity to commit terrorism. It does not matter what his father was ro where he went to school. What matters is his logic, rhetoric, and vision for this country. The labeling has to stop, the judgements have to stop. We have evolved so much as a country and as a people that it is astounding to see someone that has people like turtledove15 think so narrowly and with such ignorance. If we were talking policy, I would be fine, If we were talking about performance, I would be fine but here we are going on and one about someones parents. Get a life, grow up and lets focus on America!!! I want to know his vision for balancing our budget, his plan for Iraq, his policy on the envioronment, his ideas for the developing infrastructure in war-torn Africa. These are more important things to me, and these are the topics that are going to win or lose elections. 10/10/2007 14:57

I'm not going to try to tell anyone who to vote for. I'm sorry to say that the best person to lead this nation will not be on the ballot. I don't know who this person is but I do know that that person doesen't have all the corprate money to stand a chance. If we want reform as a nation we must demand it. Put away the religion, race and sex. This doesn't matter. We are all people. Let's stand together and do what's right. The only thing we need to do is respect each other and our beliefs. For once I would like us to respect our constitution as much as we do our flag. We get so upset to see someone burn a flag but we turn a blind eye while our goverment burns our constitution. I ask every one to remember all those in history that have given their life and sometimes more for your rights. Let's not be so fearful that we just stand by and let it be taken away. Fight for them. Fight for our children. Remember "We The People." It isn't just our right to question our goverment it's our duty. 10/10/2007 14:50

Regarding entry: Senator Barack Obama by America the Beautiful
Who is Barack Obama? Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHIEST from Wichita,Kansas.

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta.

He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world.

Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking Major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office - he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Kuran (Their equivalent to our Bible, but very different beliefs). 10/10/2007 12:12
