Ive seen them four times live, even with bon scott and u cannot tell me they are not metal. They will tell u they are rock because they are and because it reaches a broader market in popularity. Last time i checked, metal is rock and always has been!! I grew up on the stuff!!

dude. I do have to say to all me fellow metal heads. You shouldn't be surprised by the lack of metal. I must say that metal truly is the greatest genre out there, but it is hated by most people because they do not know what true metal is. In fact I am happy that they didn't put metal on there or its sub genres because they would use a crappy band like System of a Down or something to represent it. 12/01/2007 15:53

Though I like yahoo topics usually, this one's worst I've ever seen. Whoever came up with this lame topic should be fired because they are clearly out of ideas. It's the same as saying what is the best color, there is no best color because it's opinion based as with music. Dull… Maybe if the question was what band is the best within a specific genre.
