I think Powell would make a great president. Who was born in Harlem, not a foreign country like some of you have posted. I actually like Lieberman over any of these other choices. Gore just plain sucks. 02/05/2008 08:52

Poor, poor norcash. I wrote an intelligent post condemning the corruption within the republican party but all 'norcash' could do was attack me. He didn't dispute anything I said in an intelligent manner, and instead choose to try to shoot the messenger. But that is typical among republicans who are so unable to think on their own that all they can do is repeat what they are told by right wing freaks like Limblahhh, Hannity, Savage and Coulter. Norcash disputed my claim that Bush's IQ could not be 80 because he graduated from college. But everyone knows, even Bush's classmates, that Bush was 'socially promoted' and the grades he made in college were awful. His grades were considered to be "Gentlemen's Cs", which means that the grades were given to him just because he was a Bush clan member. Bush received preferential treatment all of his corrupt, soulless and pathetic life. Every dime he made he got from corrupt businessmen who used him to gain access to his father who was either the VP or the president. The Bin Laden family even invested in Arbuston, the company Bush 'owned', but failed miserably. Bush got preferential treatment during Vietnam when he went ahead of everyone else to get safe duty in the National Guard, where he went AWOL for two years. Anyone who goes AWOL during a time of war is subject to death by firing squad, but Bush never had to pay for his crime against the country. Bush also avoided being thrown in jail when he broke four federal laws while director of Harken Energy. One of his offenses was selling all of his stock in the company using insider information. Bush sold his shares just before an earning report was released but he said he knew nothing about the report. Bush lied of course because he was one of the three directors in the company who wrote the report and Bush even signed it! Bush didn't have to spend a day in jail or pay a penny in fines because guess who was the head of the SEC? It was a woman who was appointed by Bush's daddy who was still the president at the time. So much for accountablity. Being a 'Bush' means you never have to be accountable for your criminal actions. Look at the rest of the corrupt Bush Clan of Crooks. Neil Bush was one of seven defendents in the Silverado Savings and Load scandal. He helped stead ONE BILLION dollars from the people, but he only had to pay a paltry $50,000 fine. Not bad for stealing a billion dollars eh? This is the same Bush who went on SE Asian junkets and had sex with children and prostitutes. This information came out when his wife divorced him. Can anyone fault her for getting that child rapist out of her life?

It is amazing how republicans lap at the toes of their corrupt and evil leaders like Bush, no matter how moronic, evil and corrupt they are. Republican standards are the lowest in the world. And small-minded, non-thinking people like 'norcash' still cling to their party even though we are at war against a country which never threatened us, which never once harbored terrorists, and which had nothing to do with 9/11. And because of Bush we now have a debt of nearly 7 trillion even though Bush entered office with a surplus. Republicans are the most corrupt and brain dead people in the world. All they care about is their corrupt political party and to hell with the US, Americans or our soldiers. Republicans are responsible for the deaths of almost a million innocent Iraqis and almost 4000 American soldiers, all dead because Bush deliberately LIED to go to war.

Aren't you sick of republicans yet? (BTW, I am not a democrat. I am an independent and believe both political parties are corrupt and whores to corporations. But the republican party is the most corrupt party in the history of the world. 02/04/2008 12:13

megadinero is a prime example of an uninformed, egotistical, media brainwashed and morally corrupt liberal. Obviously, megadinero has no concept or memory of history when George Bush is accused of being the most evil person ever. Not many people graduate from Yale with an IQ of 80. President Bush dwarfs megadinero in intelligence. I dare say that megadinero's paycheck is signed by some "evil" Republican who believes in democracy, capitalism and the right of every citizen to seek the American dream. Or quite possibly megadinero is one of those leeches on society who does not work and merely holds thier hand out to take the spoils of the liberal, big government honey pot. s 02/04/2008 06:41

Colin Powell is just a corrupt and evil as GW Bush and anyone who supported Bush's Evil War. Powell deliberately LIED to the United Nations about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. And he also LIED saying that Iraq threatened the United States. The entire Bush Regime is the most criminal and evil one in the history of the world. They deliberately lied to go to war so that they could funnel our treasury to corrupt republican corporations. They are using our soldiers a low paid mercenaries to defend the financial interests of corrupt corporations like Halliburton. Anyone who doesn't believe Bush's War is about oil is a complete fool. And it it too bad that so many republicans are so stupid and ignorant. Just what does a republican see in the likes of GW Bush and Cheney and their political party? Are they ALL fools? Apparently so because ever choice they make they always choose to support their corrupt political party over the best interests of the United States and Americans. Republicanism is no longer a political party, but rather a disease worse than Ebola. At least Ebola can be relatively contained. Republicanism seems to infect every dimwitted, moronic bubba in the country. Bush's IQ is definitely less than 80 but republicans look up to him like he is a god who knows everything. I suppose they are looking 'up' to him and his lofty "80" IQ because the typical IQ of a republican in between 30 and 50.

Republicans are destroying this country with their complete ignorance, stupidity, and blatant greed. 02/03/2008 08:26

I once heard Powell give a two hour interview on everything from the economy to foreign policy, to the environment. Nice man perhaps - but about as brilliant as "W" who managed to con Powell, who had far greater Intelligence resources available than the Bush Co, into supporting the war. Powell is another American embarrassment in an ever growing list. 02/03/2008 00:30

Al Gore couldn't beat GWB. GWB can't put a coherent sentance together. Maybe you guys should realize that he was a weak candidate that nobody liked. It seems our choices are going downhill. The problem is with our two party system. Each party nominates candidates that nobody wants to vote for. In the 2000 election, I felt like I was voting for the lesser of two evils. Then, when the Dems had every opportunity to win in 2004, they came up with another candidate that nobody liked...so GWB won again. If either party would learn to nominate a reasonable candidate that appeals to independents, they would win by a landslide. But there is a tendancy to elect the ultra conservative and the ultra liberal neither of which appeal to the majority of Americans and both of which are bad for the political health of the country. 02/01/2008 20:24

I trust anyone who has money already, this guy is a billionaire, plus he is a billionaire who is absolutely discussed with the way the federal government has been taken control by corporate America , Bloomberg is some1 who cannot be bought, he cannot be influenced by lobbyists or anyone for that matter to vote a certain way because he already has a huge amount of money, by having money already he is capable of making the right choices clear minded, and fight for the people who are struggling in this country....This single reason is very important and is why he would make the most ideal 3rd party candidate. 02/01/2008 19:55
