My dog is the accidental offspring of two purebred parents. Mom was bloodhound and dad was a Standard poodle! Everyone asks me if she is an Otterhound or an Irish wolf hound or a griffon. She is amazing; even vets think she is an exotic breed. A poodles brain with a hounds impulsivity… She has been clocked over 40 mph but she also sits like princess on the couch… Don't try this at home!!! 03/18/2008 17:54

Bulldogs serve no purpose as a dog! They slobber, can't be outside (overheating issues), eye problems and just are bowling balls (round with holes). I had both and the bulldog had WAY too many issues. Labs have issues, but at least they are smart and can play in hot or cold weather, serve people with disabilities (I haven't seen a bulldog guide dog) 03/14/2008 12:57

I've never owned a Lab myself but my honey has one and Shes the sweetest thing. Although she tends to bark at everything, and i do mean everything.Shes very smart and loving. Energetic for sure! 03/14/2008 09:17
