David A is still inexperience. Give in mind that his is still a teen that still needs to experience prom night. Mind you he does have a good voice, but to what extent? Can he rock the crowd? So far all I've heard is ballads. The music industry is full of styles, especially the advantage of his youth, he should be mixing it up. Also his voice seams too musical theater like rather than basic mainstream of today's industry. Also his presence needs work. It seems like he does not now how to work the crowd. Seems shyish, sheepish like and you can't have that in music industry. Your persona has to dominate, your character has to flourish, you have to have swag. David A is good and will get better as he grows older. David Cook is an artist/singer/musician that is marketable right now, right out of a box and ready to go. It's his time.Both artist are good. But who is the one that is marketable ready now? That would be David C. American Idol is not only about singing good, it's about stage presence, style, it's about letting everyone know you are and have the whole package. David A seems to have that character of acting to much of a little boy, the way he talks they way he responds to criticism. He doesn't look confident.

I think it was a big mistake. Archuleta beat Cook in every aspect thru out the whole season. I honestly think that Archuleta will end up recording and selling more cd's than Cook. He will be the Clay Aiken over Ruben Studdard. Archeluta will go much further in the long run. 05/21/2008 19:18
Dafinitely David Archuleta should win. Everybody in the world who isn't biased toward Cook would accept that fact. If Archuleta isn't crowned the American Idol tonight it would be the beginning of the end of American Idol. Lots of people would be so turned off they would not want to watch it next year. Well, David Cook is a good singer but his voice is really quite ordinary, I might say. You can find it readily in cheap bars somewhere. Look David Cook is amazing but David Archuleta is Outstanding and never off key. These two have nver been in the bottom two or Three. And The Voting for these two has to so close that is the Reason Syesha went home last week. David Cook, he is the better performer. As we all know, however, Amrican Idol is not based on who can sing, but on popularity. I think its real ashame. I think Cook will win, I have the sense that he is much more popular than Archuleta. I will be surprised if Archuleta wins. I personally like Cook more as a performer and an artist. I personally think he is super cute and has amazing talent! I am rooting for him to win. He is younger, giving teen like me something to look up to. He followed his dreams and made it far. Win or Lose, he totally rocked and is an inspiration to so many teens and kids.

David Cook is amazing and I would love to see him win. However, would this really be the best thing for him look what Idol did to Bo Bice and Taylor Hicks. They made them make the albums that they wanted them to make not what they wanted to do. Either way he is a winner. David Cook is awesome and has been my pick since the beginning. A lot of people have been speculating that David C. Tried to throw the contest last night. That very well may be true so that he won't have to work under the American Idol contract. Smart on his part if you ask me. He is the true star here!
