Racism and ignorance is the problem with this country, that's why it is weakening. We need to worry about the best candidate for the position regardless of race or gender. People to me are worried to much about there own traditional beliefs without tolerance and respect for others beliefs. Same sex relationships scandals and Religion is a ploy to mask the real issues at hand in the game of politics. People need to think about what is really important; Is making sure we have adequate healthcare for our families or making sure same sex marriages do not pass into law? Listen to the underlying truth..for example you Bush supporters were so hung up into supporting the ban against gay marriages that you did not know he was allowing lobbyist healthcare companies take away our healthcare benefits, corporations to receive major tax cut for taking there businesses overseas and taking away our jobs, Now we have billions of dollars deficit because you did not pay attention to the real issues. Most of you paid attention to the country good ole' boy that has white skin that so called represents the False "True American". all I can say is "WAKE UP", for the one that knows all about Obama, look at his track record on what he has been doing for his town, and all the good things he have been doing for this country before he even decided to become president. I am not saying to vote for him, I am, if his name comes on that ballot, but I am saying for whom ever you vote for look for the true track record of actions and stop judging people by their skin color or gender. Once again, because that is what it is all about and Americans need to stop lying to themselves about it. In reading different posts and forums I have come to realize that no one seem to be concern with the real answer for America. Playing politics is old, just like Rap. When
will we realize that without God there is no existence. We've moved away from our basic principles. Taking God out of the pledge of allegiance, its ok for men to have sex with other men, as well as women having sex with women-what an abomination, let alone getting married. truly an abomination not just to God but to mankind. -God protect our children-. Look @ television, You cant watch the news anymore, its to painful, cartoons aren't the same. So we adjusted to say cartoons for adults is a cartoon that swears and show your private parts. Still we are feasting somewhat similar to Israel after being delivered from Pharaoh- For what cost are we willing to die. For what cost are we willing to live. Have we forgotten what got us here. "One nation under God". I am ignorant as to the ways of the politician and want to remain that way. I fear we are to far to turn around but the God in me want let me give up on us; so I watch and pray. It would be easier to vote if we had a reality show on the candidates. To really get chance to see you without the suite Mr. Obama, to see you without the make up Mrs. Clinton- to see if that smile is genuine Mr.Politician. I do take pleasure in seeing Mrs. Clinton Speak as well as Mr. Obama but I dont know none of you- so voting is guessing. Although I will vote, cause I do believe, but in accordance with my belief, I will pray also; not for a particular candidate, but for whoever is elected. That they have compassion for the world like Christ- No ideas on the reality show we've had enough. Islam does not equate to terrorism. It disgusts me to read posts like turtledove15. America is a beautiful country with many diversified backgrounds and different walks of life. We have prided ourselves since this countries foundation on our tolerance. It is evil and narrow-minded to assume that because of ones religion that they have the capacity to commit terrorism. It does not matter what his father was ro where he went to school. What matters is his logic,rhetoric,and vision for this country.The labeling has to stop,the judgements have to stop. We have evolved so much as a country and as a people that it is astounding to see someone that has people like turtledove15 think so narrowly and with such ignorance. If we were talking policy, I would be fine, If we were talking about performance, I would be fine but here we are going on and one about someones parents. Get a life, grow up and lets focus on America!!! I want to know his vision for balancing our budget, his plan for Iraq, his policy on the envioronment, his ideas for the developing infrastructure in war-torn Africa.
