Romney is a strong candidate, but falls short of Giuliani because he cannot bring electoral victory in the General election in BLUE STATES. He will get crucified in the general electoral as a right wing religious wacko, even though the charge has no merit. They will do it to him simply because he is a Mormon, from a very connected Mormon family, and it will sell to the democratic electorate. He would also be a strong VP candidate, because by not being at the top of the ticket, he could deflect criticism more easily. If Bush 41 could get away with Dan Quayle, surely Romney could be a good VP. I hope Giuliani selects either Huckabee or Romney for VP. A Huckabee Romney ticket could also be strong, but would lack the electoral punch that Giuliani will bring in the Northeast.

I couldn't disagree more. The guy can't say anything with a straight face. Hes a politician. He doesn't care about anyone. The only thing he cares is about is getting elected. Check his platform when he ran for Gov of MA and compare it to what he is saying now. Totaly hypocrite. 10/09/2007 22:32
