Hi, Holly - sorry I've been MIA from Bix for a while - I moved to Columbus and sort of fell out of the karoake scene - but listening to you and your sentiments about meeting and knowing the special people who frequent this site makes me want to come back and join the group again. :) And I've ALWAYS wanted to be a voice in a Disney movie too - so if that makes me a dork, then I embrace my inner dorkiness too! Hey! I moved into an apartment back in 1985 that had orange shag carpeting! It was a choice between that or a chocolate brown SCULPTED carpet! Believe it..you CAN bring a room to life with orange shag carpeting..of course that WAS 20 years ago! And you are NOT a dork! You know, miss, I did that duet of "I Know Him So Well" awhile back and sent you a letter but I know you are a busy, busy girl! I wish we lived closer too! Holly you are just soooooooooooooooooooooooo cute! ...in a dorky kind of way...lol. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed listening to you. Our basement shag was purple! It was my domain complete with black lights, posters and anything else I thought was cool! Like everyone else reading this, I'm surprised you were ever had confidence issues. Ughhhhh...the audition process is still really scary to me...but the older I get...the more daring I seem to get, lol!! :) You would do so well at audition!!! And you are SO close to all kinds of fantastic opportunites!! Maybe start with something small that you don't really care too much about...just for the experience?? Holly, Holly, Holly....That was simply amazing listening to you talk about your family, your musical experiences, and your dreams...I can relate so much on the lack of confidence thing...I didn't have the opportunities you did as I was overseas most of my younger adult years but I can imagine I'd have been the same way about auditioning on Broadway!! But at least you got to do some Off-Broadway stuff and record back-up on some albums...that is so cool!! And I love what you said about meeting so many wonderful, warm, caring people here at Bix...I am so with you on that!! What a great place to share our gifts with each other, support one another, and just enjoy socializing with each other!! I smiled the whole time I was listening to you...you are such a beautiful woman inside and out...when you started singing, I got major chills and the tears just spilled over...I am actually still crying as I type this...that song just has so much meaning to me and hearing your gorgeous voice singing it made me lose my composure!! Sorry the last 3 words cut off!!! I don't understand why it does that!!
