Its such an inspiring story! Listening to Garrett, I was amazed to learn about the devastating impact malaria still has on children. I didn't even know it was still around. Its thrilling though to learn that its entirely preventable and treatable- just $10 for a life saving bed net is within even my meager means. Garrett, you have my vote! 12/19/2007 14:37

My name is Garrett. Last summer I traveled to Rwanda, where I learned about the devastating impact of malaria. In Africa, 3000 children die each day from the bite of infected mosquitoes. I was fortunate enough to sleep under a protective bed-net, but many African children don’t get that chance. I have raised $8000 through Malaria No More whose mission is simple: to end all deaths due to malaria through the purchase and distribution of life-saving bed nets. Visit www.malarianomore.or
