In 1996 Jay Goldinger had a dream that every homeless individual in America should have an opportunity to gain employment and housing. 615 consecutive weeks later and using food as the hook, he created a most unique nonprofit that gives the homeless the hope and self confidence needed to leave the streets forever. Every Sunday, Food on Foot www.foodonfoot.org provides the homeless of Los Angeles with nutritious meals, clothing, and assistance in the transition to employment and self-sufficiency.
