Good job Chris!!! I would have been very suprised if you had not made it into the top ten, but to come in at first place against some of the talent here is outstanding!! As far as some of the comments about this being a popularity contest, some in the top 10 had small fan bases. Even if it were based on popularity, isn't that what sells records? A great singing voice is not the only thing it takes to make it, you have to be marketable, and what better way to test your marketability than with thousands of voters who don't know you. One night I was reading the news on yahoo and I accidently clicked on something and ended up at BIX. I've been visiting your page ever since--just to hear this song. (I've even cleaned house to it!)
