Thanks so much for the opportunity to be in the awesome contest!! I just received my plaque and thought it was so cool!!! Thanks again!! Astrid 09/06/2007 15:22
I had this Idea but it is only a thought. It would be so awesome if you could do a concert with the top ten artist that were picked to go to Nashville and then to put it on TV. They are all fantastic singers. It is a shame that they couldn't be heard all over the country 09/03/2007 10:48
http://www.ubl.com/genres/country/ I am one of 4 featured artists for September at UBL music! Click on my pic, then go to "news/blog" on my page to hear me, including 2 songs written by me: "I Promise You" and "Fallin' Under" 09/01/2007 07:36

And thanks also to those of you who signed my hat!! :) I'm bummed I had to miss out on the pub crawl last night! I'm sure it was a blast! Cheers! Lisa :) 08/24/2007 12:13
Just wondering if you plan on doing anything with your "just for fun" contest? I've put in quite a few entries in that contest. :) Also, great news concerning my music! I will be featured in a Johnny Cash documentary music video in Nashville, in the coming months!! :) The same promotional company will be releasing one of my songs from my upcoming CD to Mainstream radio!! So please look for the video, and listen for the song on radio in the near future!! :) I hope that you will do another big contest on here, or at least consider listening to the entries i've placed in your "for fun" contest. Thanks so much, and i'm really happy for Joshua, he's a natural talent! :) God bless!! 08/22/2007 21:47
Hey Capitol Nashville- just wanted to say thanks for hosting the contest, it was a great experience, and it's great to know that you guys were on here listening. I'm actually a commercial music student, and looking for an internship for next summer- I'd love any info you can get me on that. Thanks again,Annie Kennedy 08/22/2007 20:04
Dear Capitol Records--After my seasonal job at the city dump ends October 28, 2007, I will be available for employment. Thank you very much. 08/22/2007 18:45
Thanks for taking the time to listen to the undiscovered talent out there who don't quite have the opportunity to move to Nashville to pursue their careers. I wish other record companies gave the same consideration.

What a nice message to leave to the contestants, and to those who didn't make the final cut. It was nice to know that you also listened to the entries from round 1 also, as i didn't get to make it to Round 2, but i hope you will continue to listen to the people here on Bix, including me! AND i hope you offer another similar contest like this in the near future. Again thanks, and God bless! :) 08/13/2007 20:01
Just want to say thank you so much for the contest! This was one of the best experiences in my life, LOL :D I've always loved to sing but would never even think I would have made it this far in the contest! I've learned so much about myself through it and have also met some friends for life! Thanks Again Capitol !!! :D 08/13/2007 19:45
Bottom line more views more votes, the rotation was tainted. Everyone should have been exposed equally in the rotation, clearly that was not the case in this contest. It was a very frustrating voting system and some what unfair. I know I sound bitter and I am a little. Look, a lot of voters asked me why does the same person keep coming up first, right out of the gate in the rotation. Very seldon did you see a fresh face at the beginning of the rotation, sometimes yes but not even nearly equally to the rest. Again, you should not have to pick others to get to the artist you like, your only helping them more. Now, I tip my hat to the winners and say bix get a clue. No offense to who made it, I wish y'all the best. I will get off my box now and start writing another song. 08/13/2007 19:06
hey hows it going? busy im sure. i had a little idea I just wanted to pass along. Once you've picked your top ten in the capital contest it would be real cool (I think) if maybe one of the "Business" types could just write up a small blurb in general of what they saw contestants do, perform, act, or say that could be improved upon. for example if you saw lots of people having issues with pitch mention it and how its possible to maybe work on fixing it, or maybe it the way they approach their singing etc. i just think there is a great oppurtunity for Bix/Capital to give a little something to those who didn't quite get there to enrich their singing lifes a bit more. but hey its just an idea and i know its a busy time so thanks for listening and considering it. thanks James Fisk http://bix.yahoo.com/entry/104459?sort=CREATED_DATE&itemIndex=17&memberId=101263&state=ENDED 08/10/2007 10:30
Hello! I have placed some entries in your "just for fun" contest, if you'd like to listen. Also, i've created a contest for those that didn't make the top 50, and so far we have 91 entries up, including mine, if you'd like to take a listen. :) Here's the link: http://bix.yahoo.com/contest/12337 I'm also recording my CD after Aug. 15th, and will include many songs by well known Nashville writers. Please visit my Myspace page after September to hear my new material. www.myspace.com/lindalangmusic Thank you! :) 08/09/2007 18:20
