I think I did really well because 1. I started buying the undervalued people before everybody else. 2. I got lucky (Phil lasted much longer than everybody thought he would). 3. I used the bank to buy and sell things… If the market price is over the bank price then buy from the bank and sell everything you don't really want. If the market price is below the banks, then buy everything and sell to the bank… The first situation helped the most. 06/04/2007 14:30
That's very similar to what I did. I wouldn't sell a couple days later though. I would buy the people that I thought were under-rated, especially if they were below the price I would get that week if they were voted off. I would also buy them slowly so that their price would stay low and use the bank to get best prices. If the bank lets you buy everybody for $200 and you want to buy the bottom guy for $45 but he's currently listed for $50 then buy from the bank and sell everybody else. 06/04/2007 14:28
apparently, my tricks weren't as effective as yours. wtg. Mainly, I just stayed away from the expensive people until the very end. I'd buy a ton of Lakisha or phil, and then sell half two days later. People would buy them back up, and then I'd buy the other one. 05/25/2007 22:57
